INDIE ROCK icons The Dandy Warhols have returned with a brand new video for their latest track ‘Thick Girls Knock Me Out (Richard Starkey)’.
Featuring the band performing the song against a psychedelic backdrop, the release is designed to be a “a moment of clever fun and a break from the big worries that are quickly piling up on our doorsteps.” In typical Dandy Warhols fashion, it’s a playfully sleazy rocker full of crunching guitars and stomping rhythms. Catchy, simple and straight to the point, it includes references to The Beatles with its title giving a nod to Ringo Starr.
Last year, the Portland band returns from a four-year absence with the release of their album Distortland. They fly into the UK this weekend for a sold out performance at the iconic Roundhouse in London on Saturday.
