DMA’S have shared a new single ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’, as well as a trio of UK shows.
Marking their first release since last year’s ‘I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You’, the electro-tinged single is anthemic and cathartic – driven by soaring choruses and a high-energy instrumental. Evoking a sense of freedom and acceptance, it’s all about emerging from a dark place and being embraced by someone you love – and it indicates an exhilarating new direction for the outfit.
Guitarist Johnny Took comments: “There’s a confidence you obtain when you find someone who loves you for all your faults, quirks and obscurities. They make you feel like you don’t need to hide anything from anyone anymore.”
DMA’s have announced three shows in the UK for later in the year, including a date at the Barrowlands on 31st October.
