WITH a mind-melding and enveloping sound at their disposal which draws from the most potent strains of psychedelia and shoegaze, Domiciles are one of the most exciting proposition in Scotland today.
Having left spectators thoroughly blown away during their set at Tenement Trail this past weekend, the band have unveiled a tremendous new indication of where they’re headed next with ‘Wither’.
A live recording of the track captured in collaboration with Lucid Shade, ‘Wither’ contains elements of the ethereal qualities of Spacemen 3 and Spiritualised aligned with the more disorientating sounds employed by modern psych wizards such as Wooden Shjips and Goat. Featuring some of their least subdued instrumentation to date, the track is a mesmeric and thrilling piece which flits from menacing to utterly blissful throughout the course of its running time.
