ANOTHER Scottish artist gearing up for a massive weekend at TRNSMT, Dylan John Thomas has shared a new single ‘If I Didn’t Laugh’.

It has been a massive year for the young songwriter. In April, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by playing a sold-out Barrowlands show, before going onto make his Glastonbury debut and play as a guest to Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

‘If I Didn’t Laugh’ follows on from the immensely popular ‘Fever’ – both of which will feature on his new EP, out later this year in November. Known for his unflinchingly honest songwriting, the new track continues in this vein as he looks back on summers of his childhood, living in foster care and separated from his siblings.

It’s not in any way sombre though – instead, it’s an uplifting track with hopeful whistles and hooks aplenty.

Tune in below and catch Dylan on the Main Stage at TRNSMT this coming Sunday.
