THE BAND: Fresh from performing new tracks to friends and family in Shoredich last night, Florence Welch is getting ready to release her new album this spring which will be the follow-up to 2011’s Ceremonials.
THE SOUND: Featuring a minimal offering of Welch’s haunting vocals in the opening of this track, the sound builds into something quite monumental with a brass-prominent instrumental featuring as the heartbeat of the song. It is an almost purely instrumental track which acts as the perfect teaser to the new record.
THE VIDEO: Directed by Tabitha Denholm and Vincent Haycock the video features Florence Welch in a dramatic acting role with her body in dual form locked in embraces in a sunny forest setting.
THE LOWDOWN: As yet, Florence has only confirmed non-UK festival dates including performances at Coachella, Sziget Festival and Way out West.
