SEEMINGLY conquering the industry at will and now establishing themselves as an arena-playing, festival headlining behemoth, Foals can do no wrong in the eyes of most fans.
Turning in what is deemed by many to be the best album of their career in What Went Down, Foals have continued their victory lap with the release of the video for the gripping ‘Give It All.’
One of the track’s more straightforwardly despondent moments, ‘Give It All’ is built on a foundation of chilly synth and the consistently sublime vocal work of frontman Yannis Philippakis. Eventually bolsetering the track with the scintillating and powerful percussion of Jack Bevan, it’s a terrific piece of music which stands shoulder to shoulder with anything from What Went Down.
Its subsequent video is an equally bleak affair, filled with intense shots of a man whois wrestling with personal problems, underlying animosities and regret after the implosion of a relationship.
