Gallus 2024 Elliot Hetherton

SCOTTISH powerhouses Gallus return with electrifying new single ‘Wash Your Wounds’ ahead of their immense European and Scottish tour.

Packed full of guitar-driven verses, an infectious chorus and their notorious live energy, the recording features everything about Gallus that so many love, with ‘Wash Your Wounds’ contributing to another fine collection to their acclaimed discography. Plus, it features none other than Tina Sandwich on guest vocals – the perfect foil to Barry Dolan’s signature growl.

With clever wordplay and a theme of grounded realism, Gallus continue to nurture their reputation of thought-provoking bangers that will inevitably go down a storm at many, if not all, of their upcoming shows.

Speaking on the new single, vocalist Barry Dolan shares: “The song was inspired by an actual wound on my foot, which required washing every day, so I started saying ‘wash-yer-wound’ a lot… When I came up with the chorus, it fit in nicely.”

Their European dates see the established outfit take their exhilarating stage presence to exciting cities like Paris, Brussels, Hamburg, Bilbao, Milan and Copenhagen.

The ‘Live In Scotland’ tour kicks off at Tunnels in Aberdeen with support from ‘Wash Your Wounds’ collaborator Tina Sandwich and The Sun Day, followed by Tooth and Claw in Inverness, where the eclectic quintet team up with rising stars Plasticine.

Dundee’s Beat Generator show falls on February 17th, where a dynamic duo of Colourway and Translatorwill take to the stage in support before the concluding Edinburgh Mash House show, that will see two of the Scottish Music Collective roster in Soapbox and San Jose erupt into the perfect harmony before the main attraction.
