EDINBURGH five-piece Grace & The Flat Boys release ‘Walk Away’ ahead of their debut EP ‘Dark Glass// Rose Tint’.
Set for release on November 17th, the five-track debut EP follows on from a summer run of shows including Kelburn Garden Party, Sofar Sounds, Endless Summer and Aye Festival. Boasting influences from R&B and jazz, the latest offering from the Edinburgh outfit combines soulful vocals and charged riffs to great effect – resulting in a moody, atmospheric number that grows in intensity.
Developed by late-night jam sessions after meeting at the University of Edinburgh, Grace & The Flat Boys have already shared the stage with Josef Akin, Dinosaur 94 and Scottish star Bemz.
Saturday 18th of November sees the EP launch show at Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire, preceding a support slot for SIPHO in King Tut’s.
