GLASGOW-based artist Grayling has shared her debut single ‘River Song’.
An enchanting introduction to the songwriter, the track finds her delivering her pristine vocals and thoughtful lyrics over gently picked guitar melodies and airy, ethereal soundscapes. There’s a real intimacy to the production as she picks apart the ‘what might have beens’ at the end of a relationship – her gentle melancholy balanced out by a glimmer of hope.
A beautiful piece of songwriting, it’s one that will undoubtedly tug on the heartstrings.
