AHEAD of their UK tour, Hinds have released a new video for ‘Bamboo’, taken from their debut album. The track was one of the original demos they had back in 2014, always a regular in their live sets.
Leave Me Alone dropped on 8th January – we included it in our TTV Discover, and today the band share a self-directed video for ‘Bamboo’.
‘Bamboo’ is full of pure ‘60s pop sounds, effortless cantering rhythm and guitars twanging with tremolo whilst Cosials sings “I need you to feel like a man when I give you all I am. I know you’re not hung-over today, you are classifying your cassettes.” It’s at once louche and infectious, insouciant yet defiant, and the perfect summation of the inimitable allure of Hinds.
