HOME COUNTIES have just released their second EP ‘In A Middle English Town’, and now they’ve shared a video to accompany their track ‘Village Spirit’.
‘Village Spirit’ has a synth punk sound that is almost like if The Kooks met the Beastie Boys, and it totally draws you in.
The lyrics embrace village life, and pay homage to it, and the accompanying music makes you want to get up and dance; it is a great blend of politically fuelled lyrics and post punk influenced guitars.
On making the video for the track, director Taylor Torr said “Directing & working with [Home Counties] was a blast, they have such an amazing energy & I can’t wait to hear what they do next.”
