THE BAND: Glasgow’s Honeyblood are fresh off the back of the NME New Breed Tour and with a new drummer in place the band have recently toured the US with Belle and Sebastian. They will play Stag & Dagger’s Live at Glasgow next month ahead of the festival season kicking off.
THE SOUND: An ode to the people who keep you strong on dark days, ‘The Black Cloud’ is full of clanging symbols, Stina and Cat’s pop hooks are eagerly backed by fuzz-laden guitars and heavy percussion whilst still incorporating instinctively bold lyrics.
