JESHUA is the solo project of Dundee-born and now Glasgow-based songwriter Joshua Gray.
After releasing a couple of singles under his new moniker last year, Gray is exploring new sounds and textures on his latest outing ‘IDK’.
Lyrically offering cynical reflections on adulthood and careerism—the disillusionment that comes with “growing up” – ‘IDK’ is an introspective slice of dream-pop that reflects the artist’s ruminative headspace. With pulsing synths driving the track, Jeshua strikes a balance between the moody and ethereal.
Marking a definite shift in space and tone, the artist has already seen support from BBC Music Introducing and Vic Galloway over the last couple of weeks.
