AFTER treating us to some bluesy, impassioned rock & roll on ‘Sister’ last year, John Rush is back with a gorgeous ballad called ‘Maybe It’s True (Darlin’ It’s You)’.

The new single is a far cry from the folky guitar-driven tracks we’re used to hearing from the Paisley singer-songwriter. Instead, he opts for a deeply moving piano ballad that puts all the focus on his emotional vocals and heartfelt lyrics as he depicts, in the rawest sense, a destructive relationship destined for closure.

John is promoting the single with an interactive Immersive Television live music gig on Friday the 26th of February in Glasgow city centre venue Room 2. Using state-of-the-art technology to bring fans and artists together, they have built a giant 12 metre by 2 metre HD LED screen, giving the artists full 180 degree view of the watching online audience and allows interaction with them at home (via Zoom) replicating as much as possible of what you would experience in ‘normal times’.
