NOTTINGHAM three-piece Kagoule have spent a significant portion of the year on the road, so it seems only right that they have chosen to document this in their latest music video.
Accompanying the track ‘Open Mouth’, taken from their critically acclaimed debut album Urth released last year, the visuals were filmed at various locations across their intense touring schedule. As one of the more reflective and chilled out moments on the record, the track still possesses some of the band’s notable eccentricities such as off-kilter harmonies, angular riffs and unsettling imagery.
The video follows the release of their excellent single ‘Magnified’, the first piece of new material to emerge since their 2015 debut. Said to be working on its follow-up album with a view to a release in 2017, the band are currently on tour again with Spring King and Get Inuit, the short string of dates culminating in a show at KOKO in London on 28th October.
