The band: LIFE are a four piece band from Hull who are taking their first tentative steps into the music mainstream. They have had airtime on Zane Lowe’s radio 1 show so expect big things from them in the near future.
The sound: Their sound is a mix of shouty, angry, punk chorus’ blended with simple guitar solos and throbbing base lines. Despite the punk part, they have created a sound that is very much radio friendly. Their new single Money (listen below) is all these things, and catchy too.
The lowdown: Money will be released alongside Crawling on the 17th March. They have a free gig coming up in Glasgow on the 21st March and are supporting The Savage Nomads at the Garage in London on the 19th March.
