The band: Lilac Pin, an electro pop duo, have just recently surfaced in Glasgow and announced themselves to the world with their debut single ‘Easy’.
The sound: ‘Easy’ (listen below) leads with a delicate and soulful melody played out on the piano. This blends with some sweet vocals and light synth’s, creating an ambient but pop infused sound. At about the two and a half minute mark the synth’s are unleashed as song lifts to dizzying heights before falling back down and ending on that subtle yet captivating piano melody.
The lowdown: All we can say is ‘watch this space’, these guys could be huge.
