LIZZIE Reid has returned with a brand-new single called ‘Bible’ – and we’re delighted to reveal it as our Radar Track of the Week.

The track arrives just over a year after the release of her critically acclaimed debut EP ‘Cubicle’ which gained widespread support from press, radio and streaming, and was even shortlisted for the SAY Award.

Now, after retreating to a residential studio in Nottingham with regular collaborator Oli Barton-Wood, she’s sharing this new offering ‘Bible’.

Imbued with the same unflinching honesty and thoughtful introspection as that EP, the track finds her holding a mirror up to her feelings as she enters into a new relationship. Instantly timeless, it’s the kind of song that will feel personal to every listener.

Speaking about the track, she said: ““Bible is about being nervous about falling in love again. I was feeling something, and that scared me. “I wanted to get things right this time, be important to someone, and not to bring my anxieties into the picture. Becoming involved with someone tends to bring up things within yourself. It holds a mirror up and forces me to look at myself through someone else’s eyes.”
