Lusts Promo ShotThe Band: Achieving a chic new wave sound through blending classic influences such as New Order and Echo and the Bunnymen with early 90’s shoegaze, brand new Leicester brother duo Lusts aren’t afraid to wear their reverb and echo beating hearts on their sleeve.

The Sound: Complete with shimmering guitars and organ fuelled choruses, woozy first single Temptation packs a stylistic drive reminiscent of Darklands era Mary Chain while not straying from the blithe cool that defined 80’s new wave.

The Video: An oblique, psychedelic affair, the video mixes urban imagery with trippy shots of the brothers playing against a backdrop of white screens.

The Lowdown: ‘Temptation’ is released via digital download on the the recently re-launched 1965 records and is available for purchase now. Having only played one gig to date, the band embarks on their first UK tour in support of Coves throughout March and play Glasgow’s Nice ‘n’ Sleazy on the 8th.
