TWO of Ireland’s most enchanting musicians have paired up for the release of a stunning new track by the name of ‘Threads’.
After touring together last year, Maria Kelly and Ailbhe Reddy discovered a powerful and unique musical chemistry that was impossible to ignore. Choosing to delve back into unfinished material from the past, the two artists co-wrote a track that deals in love and heartbreak in a deeply moving and eloquent manner.
Heart-wrenchingly beautiful in its composition, the two singers’ delicate tones complement each other wonderfully as the tale of a not-quite relationship unravels against a backdrop of swelling strings and gentle melodies.
