GLASGOW collective Medicine Cabinet have finally unveiled their eagerly anticipated debut single ’The Signs’. And we’re delighted to reveal it is as our track of the week.

After first bursting onto the live scene a couple of years ago, the enigmatic five-piece have quickly developed a cult following of fans keen to know more – all without a single piece of music out in the world. Pairing their striking, playful image with raw, dancefloor-ready pop-rock,   their fun and eccentric shows have showcased a band absolutely brimming with talent and charisma.

And we’re pleased to report that their debut single more than lives up to the hype. ’The Signs’ is fun, upbeat and instantly infectious – sitting somewhere between the glittering yet grungy worlds of No Doubt, Blondie, B52s and Grimes. Led by the brilliant Anna Acquroff, her dreamy vocals are delivered against bright, catchy guitar lines, gang vocals and pulsing rhythms. It’s a vibrant and intoxicating mix that’s testament to the fun, fearless and empowering world they inhabit.

Tune in below.
