FOLLOWING on from last year’s well-received ‘Stay Nocturnal’ EP, Murdo Mitchell has returned with an emotive new single ‘Ghosts’.

Nearly five minutes in length, the singer-songwriter takes the listener on an emotional journey of loss and heartbreak, exploring themes of broken trust and lost promises. Enveloped in a dark, captivating melody and set against a powerful, thumping beat, the track gains intensity as it progresses, shining a light on his introspective lyrics and haunting vocal performance.

Mitchell said “Ghosts is about the vulnerability you open yourself up to in a relationship and the trust that both parties must have in order for it to function. But more especially, it’s probably more to the point of what happens when that trust breaks down.”

Set to support Dylan John Thomas at his sold-out gig at the Barrowlands at the end of April, its no surprise that his profile continues to rise.

Today he announces his own headline shows in Glasgow and London. Tickets links can be found below.
