FOLLOWING the release of ‘Thoughts / Dreams / Regrets’, Neon Waltz are continuing their triumphant comeback with the release of new single ‘A Million People’.
Even more exciting, both tracks will appear on their upcoming album ‘Honey Now’ out 1st September on Fierce Panda Records.
Another tantalising glimpse of what to expect from the new record, ‘Million People’ is driven by the same defiant energy and emphatic catharsis as its predecessor. Written in the middle of the pandemic, it’s all about the swirling thoughts and confusion that came with self-isolation – but as ever, there’s that undercurrent of hope and optimism that bursts out on the soaring chorus.
The band say of the track: “Written in the height of Lockdown 1, it’s a song about being absolutely stir crazy. Scared to leave the house, but also the intrusive thoughts that would present themselves when inside. I was going through a massive change in my life at the time and writing this song sort of pulled me out of the hole. It wrote itself and the bones of the song took about 2 hours to write”
