The band: Neon Waltz are a six-piece from the Caithness in the North-East of Scotland. This year they have taken big strides in the music world and are emerging as one of the most exciting acts in the country. They recently featured on Noel Gallagher’s Autumn Spotify Playlist, so are certainly attracting fans in the right places.
The sound: They have now uploaded a demo version of their track ‘Veiled Clock’ to Soundcloud, which is set to the time signature of a slow waltz. It is an airy track, with lots of room for vocal harmonies and delicate melodies. Its sound could definitely be inspired by the fresh Scottish countryside around where the group originates.
The lowdown: They will be back in the road in December with a 9-date tour around England. Although not announced yet, a debut album can’t be too far away.
