Zoe Graham ‘TENT’

Zoe Graham has today shared her debut album ‘TENT’. Featuring previously heard singles ‘Push and Pull’, ‘Evilin’ and ‘Good Girl’, it’s an ambitious record that feels as open and honest as it does musically expansive – loungey synths and guitars blend with taut rhythms and brassy flourishes, while she showcases some of her most vulnerable songwriting to date. Drawing influence from artists like St Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, David Bowie, Orange Juice and Kate Bush, it’s an expertly crafted and arranged project – every chorus hits and Graham has never sounded so confident and comfortable as a songwriter. Fiercely original, it’s the sound of an artist truly coming into her own.

Humour ‘Neighbours’

Glasgow’s Humour are back for the first time in two years with the release of new single ‘Neighbours’. Having made their presence known with two uncompromising EPs – 2022’s ‘Pure Misery’ and 2023’s ‘A Small Crowd Gathered To Watch Me’ – the five-piece are back in incendiary form. An intense slice of post-hardcore rock, it’s one of their heaviest and ferocious tracks to date – tracking the steady decline of its protagonists’ mental wellbeing.

Frontman Andreas Christodoulidis commenting:”Neighbours’ is about a guy who lives alone but is convinced that a group of mischievous creatures share his flat, deliberately doing things to make him suffer, like turning off the heating in winter, or turning it up when he’s too hot and making noise in the kitchen when he tries to sleep.

“As he gradually descends into paranoia and psychological instability, he decides to try and get rid of them by turning the oven on and letting gas fill the flat overnight.”

KuLeeAngee ‘Be Good’

KuLeeAngee, comprised of Scottish friends Duncan Grant and Keshav Kanabar, have already treated us to ‘Television’ and ‘Animated Love’ – two delectably funky numbers that blend guitar-driven melodies with acid house influences. Think Confidence Man, Jagwar Ma and Jungle. They’ve now returned with a new offering ‘Be Good’ and continues their rich vein of form – it’s a bass and drum led number that has the swagger of Stone Roses while still harking back to the dancefloor.

Feyvo, Katherine Aly ‘Like Me’

Edinburgh artists Feyvo and Katherine Aly have teamed up on empowering new single ‘Like Me’.  A celebration of female confidence and independence, it’s a song bursting with attitude and fire – evoking a girls night out with clever wordplay, strong beats and complementary vocals.

When discussing the partnership, Feyvo said: “Katherine and I clicked straight away. We wanted to create something that felt authentic, fun, and full of energy. ‘Like Me’ is exactly that – it’s for the girls who know their worth.”

Aly added: “There’s something magical about spontaneous creativity. ‘Like Me’ came together so effortlessly, and it’s a song that radiates empowerment and fun in equal measure.”

Calum Bowie ‘Through The Window’

Scottish breakthrough artist Calum Bowie has today shared his eagerly awaited debut EP Through The Window’ featuring new single ‘Your Anthem. It arrives as the rising singer-songwriter concludes his triumphant sold-out UK tour. The five-track EP showcases the 24-year-old singer songwriter’s burgeoning talent and effortless way with a rousing melody. Released via Capitol/Polydor Label Group, the EP features two previously released singles, the stirring acoustic ballad ‘Dream Of My Own’ and the uplifting and infectious Wherever She Goes’ alongside new single and fan favourite ‘Your Anthem’.

I’ve had lots of ups and downs – not in music, but just in personal life and lots of hard moments – and those stories are the thread that ties it all together.”
