HAILING from East Kilbride, the appropriately named New Town have shared a brand-new single called ‘Sail Away’
No strangers to the local live circuit, the band play a sold-out show at King Tut’s Summer Nights this Saturday alongside headliners Noise – and the new track has undoubtedly been crafted with this occasion in mind.
All anthemic guitars, impassioned vocals and soaring choruses, it’s an upbeat slice of indie-rock that yearns for crowd participation – and it comes armed with a message of hope and new beginnings.
Perfectly timed, as the song itself marks a new era for the group – they’ve recently re-emerged with a revised line-up which has allowed them to re-shape the sound of their music and explore new territories.
