CURRENTLY in the midst of an extensive UK tour that’ll bring them up to Glasgow and see them bringing their shimmering dance pop to our very own Tenement Trail, London’s Nimmo are capturing the imaginations of droves and look set to to continue to grow at an exponential rate as we move into 2016.
Having aired the wonderful ‘Dilute This’ to a great deal of acclaim earlier this month, the five piece have now exercised their aptitude for experimenting with their own material by revealing ‘Dilute This (Nimmo Night Edit).
Removing many of its poppier trappings in favour of a pulse-racing house stomp that’d obliterate the dancefloor in any club, their ‘Night Edit’ breathes entirely new life into the track and enables them to display their mastery of the genre in all its forms. Never diminishing the power of the song’s sentiment or the strength of its lyricism, the ‘Night Edit’ is a brave re-imagining of a tremendous pop song.
