SCOTTISH singer-songwriter star Nina Nesbitt has returned a new song called ‘Chewing Gum’, which will be from her yet-to-be-announced forthcoming album. It comes after Nesbitt announced a trio of intimate warm-up dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow’s King Tut’s.
‘Chewing Gum’ was unveiled on Radio 1 and the song managed to climb its way up to number two on the trending list on Twitter. The new song experiments with a more matured pop-driven sound, to expand on her acoustic indie-pop.
Nina Nesbitt released her debut album Peroxide two years ago, which hit number 11 on the UK albums chart and number one on her home turf on the Scottish albums chart. Her two top 40 songs, ‘Stay Out’ and ‘Way in the World’, managed to bump up her combined views on Vevo and YouTube to 30 million.
