BRIGHTON three-piece Our Girl have shared a brand new song; and we’re fairly certain that it’s their best to date.

Featuring Bill Ryder-Jones on production duties, the eponymous track makes a strong claim to become the band’s theme song as they find the perfect balance between crashing drums, squalling guitars and Soph Nathan’s dreamy lead vocals. A hugely addictive and hook-laden slice of grunge-pop, it’s the sound of the band who are starting to believe in their own innate promise.

Speaking of the track, Soph Nathan, also known as lead guitarist of The Big Moon, explained: “Our Girl was the first song I ever wrote, the first song we played together, and the first demo we ever recorded and shared with people. We ended up naming the band after it! So this song feels like the perfect re-introduction to everything we’ve got coming”.

Our Girl are currently on tour with Pale Waves and Bloxx. They arrive in Glasgow on 4th March.
