PALACE captured the hearts and minds of many when they first released ‘Bitter’ back in 2014.
Originally featured on their debut EP ‘Lost In The Night’, the sweeping track, with its warm guitar tones and deeply evocative vocals, was one of the first indications of the band’s massive potential; a gateway into frontman Leo Wyndham’s soul as he explored the self-destructive nature of jealousy.
With a special place in the heart of their many admirers, it came as no surprise that ‘Bitter’ went on to feature on the band’s dark and entrancing debut album ‘So Long Forever’, released last year.
Ahead of their extensive UK tour in April, the four-piece have treated the remastered track to a brand new visual. Created in collaboration with artist and designer Joe McCrae, the beautifully shot black and white clip conveys themes of self-reflection and self-exploration; working in perfect harmony with the deeply affecting composition and its candid lyricism.
Palace will return to Scotland next week to play Edinburgh on Saturday 8th April.
