FOLLOWING on from last month’s ‘Red Letter’, Parliamo are taking another step forward with the release of new single ‘Happen To Me’.
A band who have always been unafraid to push the parameters of their sound time and time again, the new song is more meditative than anything we’ve heard before – broaching balladic territory with its reflective lyrical content and wistful lyrics. Of course, their vibrant guitar-driven edge is still there, but it sees them add new dynamics to their songwriting. And just when you think it’s reached a conclusion, it lifts off with an onslaught of electric guitars and Britpop panache.
Parliamo play The Garage in Glasgow on 21st December.
