EAST KILBRIDE’S very own Poor Frisco have shared their latest song ‘Weird in the Suburbs’, which the third single from their latest release Sheep’s Clothing.
Poor Frisco have always had that heavy west coast sound that the likes of Twin Atlantic and 21st State have developed in the last five years. But Poor Frisco are relatively new on the scene, and have some potent melodies in their armoury. ‘Weird in the Suburbs’ features one middling-sped, power-chord riff that dominates the track throughout its entire duration. The track doesn’t get excessively heavy, even though the frequent guitar feedback suggests that it is going to, which means ‘Weird in the Suburbs’ is accessible for all the indie fans out there.
