POSSESSING
a penchant for innovation and a fearless approach to electronic music in an era where too many artists are quick to dart towards the comfort of well trodden ground, Glasgow’s Machines In Heaven are a group that are renowned not only within Glasgow’s bustling scene but have left their imprint on people all over the world.

Receiving coverage from such esteemed institutions as MTV, Billboard, DJ Mag and more, their latest opus Phenomenology is nothing short of a voyage into the depths of their creativity and is at once danceable, bewildering and riveting all the way from its tentative first moments to its most enriching crescendos.

A multi-faceted whirlwind which invades the senses and refuses to let go, TTV are delighted to premiere the band’s hedonistic video for the captivating ‘Let’s Hang Out At Pluto.’

With the track itself being a dizzying and mind-expanding affair which encapsulates aspects of ambient alongside forward-thinking electro, it’s a relief to know that it’s accompanying visuals are equally enthralling.

Helmed by Liam Dickson, it sees the trio cavorting through the town with reckless abandon, consuming as many intoxicants as they can get their hands on. Described as a ‘tale of three bastards’ which may be all too familiar to some, its frequent jump cuts and mesmeric style mirror the descent into unrestrained madness which their jovial night out soon becomes.

Culminating in suitably sinister fashion, it’s a shining example of both audio and video correlating to create a truly visceral experience.

Phenomenology is available now via Hot Gem.
