BLESSED with an incredibly imposing and versatile vocal style, Stealth has been making considerable waves within the UK’s music scene in recent months and has expertly moulded himself into a hot prospect for the coming year.
Cutting his teeth by lending his powerful brogue to tracks from a myriad of dance producers such as Roger Sanchez, Netsky, Nitin Sawhney and various others, it’s became abundantly clear that this charismatic vocalist is more than a mere guest star and has all the tools at his disposal to become a bona-fide breakout star.
Set to release his debut EP in March of next year, TTV are delighted to premiere Stealth’s mesmerising acoustic rendition of ‘Intro.’
As its title may suggest, ‘Intro’ serves as a statement of intent for the singer as he goes forward and a track which sees him strike the perfect balance between the ruggedness of blues and the often bittersweet beauty of neo-soul. Setting out with powerful and gripping acoustic guitar, ‘Intro’ sees Stealth summon the intangible magnetism of great blues singers such as Paul Rodgers and Robert Plant all the while contextualising it within today’s modern music landscape. Stripping away the ambient textures of the track’s original incarnation in favour of a stripped back yet equally riveting approach, this acoustic version is demonstrative of all the promise that he’s shown and epitomises why everyone from BBC Introducing to Music Week have championed him so fervently.
Stealth’s Intro EP will be released on the 25th March 2016 via Tileyard Records.
