11312677_906262616131801_8614968806911810165_oBRASH, uncompromising and seemingly created with the intention of appealing to your mind, spirit and body, Glasgow’s own Tijuana Bibles are the proud owners of some of the nation’s most compelling and impeccably executed output to have surfaced in recent years.

Recently marking an important milestone in their career thanks to an absolutely blistering set at this year’s T in the Park, the four piece are now gearing up to bring their hot-blooded style of debauched blues rock to audiences far and wide on a mammoth European tour.

With a new fully fledged EP making its way to our eardrums in the near future, the band are premiering the mighty ‘Ghost Dance’ exclusively via TTV.

The colossal riff that the listener encounters at the track’s genesis seems all at once impenetrable yet inviting and hypnotic; equal parts indebted to the benchmarks set by modern day blues titan Gary Clark Jr and the desert rock aesthetic that is synonymous with Josh Homme’s Queens Of The Stone Age. Defined by propulsive rhythms that are deeply embedded into the track’s foundation and act as as the perfect companion for frontman Tony Costello’s boisterous delivery; these rousing ingredients are combined with a soaring chorus that comes across as purgative, explosive and downright primal all in the same breath.

The time for reticence has expired, Tijuana Bibles are coming into their own in spirited fashion.

‘Ghost Dance’ and the accompanying Ghost/Dance/Movement EP will be available digitally from the 4th September 2015.

Tickets for their upcoming hometown at Oran Mor the night after the EP’s release are available now via Gigs In Scotland.
