prideshigherloveTHE BAND: 2014 was a huge year for Prides and just one month in, it seems the band have big plans for 2015 too. They have already released big remixes this year, retouching hot tracks by Twin Atlantic and Ellie Goulding. They’re back with new material in the form their fifth single ‘Higher Love’.

THE SOUND: Featuring their signature harmonies and electro-pop synths, this mid-tempo track sees the band explore a demure sound letting their on-point vocals do the talking. Singer, Stewart Brock says: “Higher Love is a turning point track for us. It was one of the first tracks we wrote after being out playing shows, and that definitely inspired some of our choices. We loved that people had started to sing along to songs like Out of the Blue and Messiah, and we wanted a song that people could really engage with.”

THE LOWDOWN: The track premiered last night on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show. ‘Higher Love’ will be released on 23rd March 2015.
