pridesWITH this year bringing them unprecedented levels of success, it’d be no stretch to say that Glasgow’s Prides are one of Scotland’s most culturally important acts of the moment.

Embedding themselves in the collective consciousness of not only musos but more casual observers of the musical spectrum, their unique combination of pop sensibilities and entrancing synth pop is paying off in dividends.

Having gained the sought-after title of ‘hottest record in the world’ from Radio 1’s Annie Mac, the trio have released the video for the obscenely catchy ‘Little Danger.’

Standing out from the very first listen as one of the finest tracks on their debut The Way Back Up, ‘Little Danger’ displays the band’s ambitious sound firing on all cylinders to create something truly wondrous.

Setting off with vocoders and a resoundingly heartfelt delivery from frontman Stewart Brock, the track soon bursts into life due to hulking synths and a beat that is nothing short of gripping. Speaking in reference to the central ethos behind the track, Brock has stated that: “Lyrically it’s about that start of a relationship, about wanting someone so much that you can’t seem to contain it. It’s about that moment your body shivers when you catch eyes with someone”

Set to be released as a single on the 18th September 2015, watch its wild caper of a video below that sees a humble cafe shaken to its very core by an incredibly striking patron. Watch below:
