FOLLOWING the release of last year’s self-titled debut, Savoy Motel have unveiled a glitzy new video for ‘Western Version Boogie’.
Strutting through a swirling funk odyssey of ripping guitars, loose chord changes and infectious bassline grooves, the band are able to channel the sounds of seventies excess through a modern perspective. For those who are familiar with their debut album, it is every as wacky and kitschy as you’d expect from the Nashville rockers.
The new video is a suitably sparkly companion, effectively building on the nostalgic stylings of the track with some immaculately framed shots and seventies throwback vibes.
Hoping to build on the acclaim they received for the eponymous debut last year, the four-piece will be embarking on a UK tour later this year. Touching down in seven cities, they will kick off the tour in Glasgow at Stereo on 28th March. Check out the video below.
