WITH an appearance at Reading & Leeds lined up this coming weekend aswell as at our very own Tenement Trail in October, Sea Girls have shared a soaring new track called ‘Violet’.

Premiered on Radio 1 last night as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’, the band continue to rise high on this latest offering which has all the makings of a festival anthem. Bursting with energy, the hook may be simple but its certainly effective as the protagonist reaches out wholeheartedly to the object of his affections. It’s a soaring love song that packs a punch as the band deliver one of their biggest choruses to date.

Henry Camamile said: “If our other tracks are the shade, then Violet is definitely the light. There is no tortured soul here, just a boy who avoided the inevitable for years, suddenly realises, and throws himself wholeheartedly to someone who’s made for him. Put your face in a sink of ice cold water and that’s how it makes me feel.”

Sea Girls play Tenement Trail on 12th October. Tickets here.
