WITH ambitions that stretch far beyond the reach of their hometown Kirkcaldy in Fife, indie-rock outfit Shambolics are more than ready to make their mark on Scotland’s flourishing music scene.

Since their formation at the end of 2015, the band have toured relentlessly around the UK with a series of live shows and noteworthy support slots. Having taken significant strides in only a short amount of time, the release of their new single ‘Love Collides’ is set to consolidate their appeal even further.

Falling into the category of classic rock and roll with elements of dreamy psychedelia, the track evokes a confident swagger that is reminiscent of their many influences. Opening with an irresistible chime of guitars, its clean melodies have you hooked from the outset before the arrival of a classic indie rock vocal. An accomplished offering from the young upstarts, it feels only right that an enthralling guitar solo should see the track out over a final rush of percussion.

The accompanying video is very much in fitting with the band’s classic aesthetic as they perform the song against a swirling, shadowy backdrop. Already causing a significant stir across social media, the single will be released through Electric Honey before becoming available on all streaming sites in March.
