Sleaford-Mods-770ONE of the more incendiary and socially conscious acts to rise to prominence in recent times; Nottingham-based duo Sleaford Mods fuse elements of punk, hip-hop and hardcore together as a backdrop for frontman Jason Williamson’s vitriolic proclamations.

Capitalising on recently found momentum, the group have released the scorning ‘No One’s Bothered’ and announced details of a forthcoming album.

Released on a day that the nation’s electorate will decide upon who shall lead the country for the next five years, it appears to be no accident that the band would choose an occasion  of this magnitude to release such an indictment of modern society.

Decrying the apathy of the modern world and the manner in which the tribulations faced by many are left unresolved, the track’s aesthetic lands somewhere between Sham 69, Bad Brains and the musical output of John Cooper Clarke.

Coinciding with the release of the track, Sleaford Mods have announced of their third record Key Markets, which shall emerge on 10th July 2015 via Harbinger Sound.
