Slowthai has emerged from the shadows to share a new single called ‘I know nothing’.
The Northampton rapper signalled his return recently, revealing on social media that his third album was “done”.
This new song arrived this week via a Beats By Dre ad, with slowthai lending the previously unheard material to the piece.
Full of anxiety, the tune starts out quietly and contemplatively before surging forward with layers of distorted guitars and pent up energy.
Produced by Speedy Wunderground guru Dan Carey, it adds new shades of post-punk to slowthai’s sound.
