AFTER seizing our attention with his fun and irreverent debut ‘Who Drank My Cans?’, Starsky-Rae has returned with a hypnotic second single called ‘Fake It’.

While that first song was punchy and direct, he channels his creative flair in a more expansive and exploratory fashion this time, blending together elements of indie pop, jazz and electronica to great effect. ‘Fake It’ is dreamy and lush without ever losing sight of its direction; his soft vocals lead us through a hypnotic soundscape with idiosyncratic rhythms, amped up guitar lines and jazzy breakdowns. It’s a warming and mesmerising listen.

An artist who operates on his own terms, Starsky-Rae’s experimenting pays off again. Tune in below.
