band that seems to have been perpetually hyped ever since the moment that they strode onto the scene, Sunflower Bean made their name after a string of high octane support slots with prominent acts such as Wolf Alice, Best Coast and DIIV.

Having bowled us over with the sheer power of tracks such as ‘I Hear Voices’ and ‘Wallwatcher’, the band have wasted little time in readying their debut album Human Ceremony; a record which now holds the lofty position of one of the most sought after of the year from any burgeoning artist.

With the album’s release now little more than  a month away, they’ve taken it upon themselves to tease us once more with the superb ‘Easier Said’.

Setting out with guitar melodies reminiscent of The Cure at their most jangly and introspective, frontwoman Julia Cumming’s gorgeous vocal work soon enchants us and leads us through a wondrous three minute journey that is a great deal subtler than the prog rock based style of ‘I Hear Voices.’

A trait of any great band is a diversity to their  sound which is capable of encompassing any number of moods or experiences and conveying them effectively. This is precisely what the soothing ‘Easier Said’ exemplifies and has now saw them capture not only our imaginations but stake a claim for our  hearts as well.

The band’s debut LP Human Ceremony is set for release on the 5th February 2016 via Fat Possum. Check out the track and get the details on their brief UK tour below:
