FLORIDA four-piece Surfer Blood have unveiled a brand new video for ‘Matter Of Time’, the latest cut from their fourth studio album Snowdonia, due out on 3rd February 2017.
Featuring all of the elements of a classic Surfer Blood track, this new offering is a driving pop song; full of catchy hooks, upbeat rhythms and dual vocals from new bassist Lindsey Mills and frontman John Paul Pitts. Exploring thoughts of getting older and the decision to get married, the youthful perspective is matched by the accompanying video which sees the band return to high school for their year book photos; particularly appropriate given that all four members attended the same school in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Snowdonia is Surfer Blood’s first release with their new lineup and is said to be one of their most ambitious to date; tackling heavier themes such as mortality and ageing through more complex compositions. ‘Matter Of Time’ is one of the more straightforward pop tracks featured on the album though; injecting a dose of sunny power pop into your day.
