The band: Making a name for themselves up and down the country, Glasgow’s The Amazing Snakeheads are signed to Domino records and are in the comfortable neuk of being BBC 6 Music darlings. Known for eyeballing the crowd as they rip out balls-to-the-wall guitar rock live, TAS have kick, whether you like it or not.

The sound: Recorded at night time at The Green Door Studio in Glasgow, this is a subterranean record, and the band are set to unveil an album that can show you round the parts of a city that come alive after dark. Punchy, dirty and spine-chilling; this could be their finest work yet.

The video: Taking to their social media to release the new video, The Amazing Snakeheads have stayed with their signature style unveiling the dark corners of nightclubs and alleyways after dark. Showing us what prevails on nights of debauchery themed by dirty rock ‘n’ roll and fuelled by alcohol, The Amazing Snakeheads are becoming as addictive as the whisky in their bottle.

The lowdown: Their debut LP ‘Amphetamine Ballads’ will be released on 14th April 2014.
