BURSTING out from the depths of Scotland’s  sweat-drenched venues with ferocity and passion, The Dunts’ unkempt take on rock ‘n’ roll is a breath of fresh air in the face of the overproduced and uninspired.

Unveiled ahead of their single launch this Saturday at Sauchiehall Street’s The Priory Bar, the four piece have capitalised on the substantial hype around ‘Birds And The Beez’ with the similarly rugged ‘G53.’

Armed with a sound that is akin to submerging yourself in Glasgow’s squalid underbelly for a debauched weekend, their latest offering is a decadent punk affair that evokes the sound of early Arctic Monkeys, Wire and The Replacements at their most forthright and confrontational. Blistering from the opening salvo, it is a track that asserts the band as an integral part of Glasgow’s rising contingent of guitar-based dissonance.

The Dunts’ single launch at The Priory will take place this Saturday 17th June with support from Heavy Rapids, Pleasure Heads and Sobriety with tickets available at just £5 on the door.
