AFTER leaving a lasting impression at Live at Leeds and The Great Escape earlier this month, The Snuts are now preparing for the biggest show of their career to date when they take to the TRNSMT Main Stage this summer.

Making the leap from the King Tut’s to the Main Stage in the short space of the year, the band look set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Bathgate native Lewis Capaldi as their rapid ascendency continues to gain momentum with the recent news that they have signed to major label heavyweights Parlophone Records. Ahead of their eagerly anticipated TRNSMT appearance, the band have now shared their first new track of the year.

Premiered on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music show, ‘All Your Friends’ is a darker portrayal of youth culture and the social stigmas which surround a hedonistic lifestyle. In their own words, they want to offer a “new twist on a familiar social stigma surrounding the drug epidemic that nobody seems to want to talk about”.

A firm rejection of the notion that indie-rock has become tired and formulaic, ‘All Your Friends’  may open in restrained fashion but it doesn’t take long for the indie-rock juggernaut to explode to life with a mammoth chorus; all roaring riffs and crashing rhythms. Breathing refreshing new life into a well-trodden genre with that vitally impassioned spirit, The Snuts are at their best when they are at their most raw.

Rugged, dynamic and with an underlying menace, the track has been accompanied by a wild video that sees the band perform inside a microwave. Check it out below.
