Once again embracing their sense of fun, the video sees the band compete in a mad race home which ends with a villainous twist as lead singer Anna Cory is left the last one standing in slightly circumspect fashion. Complementing the track’s jangly indie-pop vibes, it’s another catchy and well-crafted number from the band following the release of their acclaimed second album Try to Be Hopeful last year. Known for their socially aware and explorative lyrics, ‘Gone Home’ is fuelled by nostalgia as Cory, through her soft delivery, considers going back home to a time when life was simpler. It can be found on The Continental Drift EP, a compilation released by Slumberland Records and Fortuna POP! earlier this year.

Along with the video comes the announcement that the band are set to join American punk duo PWR BTTM on a number of UK and European dates throughout December, including an appearance at The Hug and Pint in Glasgow on 5th December. Up next is Tenement Trail though, where they are bound to win over a set of new fans with their bold indie pop anthems.
