The temperance movement tenement tv
THERE’S
very few albums that are more highly anticipated at TTV HQ than White Bear, the sophomore record from blues rock outfit The Temperance Movement.

With the wonderfully belligerent ‘Three Bulliets’ proving that they’ve not lost any of the panache that made their debut such an engaging listen from bell to bell, the band have provided further insight into their upcoming album with an acoustic rendition of ‘Do The Revelation’.

Driven by Phil Campbell’s vibrant, Fogerty-esque vocals, this stripped back take on ‘Do The Revelation’ indicates that the band aren’t straying too far from the thrillingly unkempt classic rock style that informed their opening gambit and that is news which is sure to delight their wide-reaching fanbase. Featuring a rustic, delta blues based riff that’s  sure to sound even more robust when fleshed out and amplified, it’s only stoked the fires of hype which have been ignited around their upcoming record.

White Bear will be released on the 15th January 2016 and is available to pre-order now via Earache Records. For those looking to catch the band live, they’re embarking on a short UK to celebrate the album’s release which features a date at Glasgow’s legendary Barrowlands.
